My stay at Angkor Empire Boutique had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from pub street and the night market, which made exploring easy and convenient. However, I faced some hiccups with my room and their promised services. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there were a few things that needed improvement.
Rooms
6.0
My room was quite spacious and clean. However, it lacked a fridge, safe, or proper cupboard to hang clothes. I was also lucky enough to get a room right next to the reception, but it was surprisingly quiet. A minor downside was the mosquito issue; I had to buy an electric mosquito killer, but once I did, it was all good.
Service
8.0
The staff were super friendly and always smiling, which honestly made a big difference. They were eager to help with anything, and having a tuk-tuk driver like Suvanna was a total game changer. He was affordable and showed me around like a buddy, which added a personal touch to my stay.
Location

Location-wise, Angkor Empire Boutique is a winner! It’s just a two-minute walk to both the night market and pub street, so I could easily hit up the local spots without hassle. Plus, it felt far enough from the noisy street to enjoy some peace and quiet.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were decent but a bit limited. They start serving breakfast at 7:30 AM, which was fine for me, though I would’ve loved more variety. The quality was good for what I ordered, but I missed out on trying more dishes during my stay.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered several useful facilities, like free airport shuttle service and the ability to arrange tours or transportation. Despite being a boutique hotel, it had adequate amenities, though a lift would’ve been appreciated since my room was on the upper floor.

I had a decent stay at Angkor Empire Boutique for 3 nights. While it didn't completely live up to the high expectations set by online reviews, it definitely has its perks. The location is perfect, just a 2-minute stroll to Pub Street, which is super convenient. For the price paid, the value is solid, but don't expect luxury—it's more basic than boutique.
Rooms
6.0
The room was clean but quite small, lacking space for my suitcase. It had basic furnishings with only a single nightstand, which made it a bit cramped for my needs.
Service

The staff were friendly and attentive, although some had trouble with English. They were helpful overall, especially when organizing airport pickups and breakfast arrangements.
Location

The hotel's location is excellent, just 200 meters from Pub Street and the Night Market. I enjoyed how I could blend into the local scene while still being so close to the tourist spots.
Dining

Breakfast was good quality, with options like omelettes and fresh fruit, though the coffee could use some improvement. It’s great that they offer packed sandwiches if you plan to visit Angkor Wat at sunrise.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities included free airport pickup and decent Wi-Fi, but there wasn’t much in terms of luxury amenities typical of a boutique experience.

I enjoyed my stay at Angkor Empire Boutique, thanks to its great location and friendly staff. However, I had a frustrating experience with the airport pick-up service which dampened the start of my visit. Overall, considering the price and the warm hospitality, I would rate it 4 stars.
